Ray and Maggie have an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in business administration along with the expertise of more than a decade in the public and private education sector.
Pharos Christian Academy is a new, private christian school coming to SETX in 2025.

Enrollment Process

2) Submit Application and Application Fee
3) Submit additional required documents (if applicable)
4) Placement Testing (if applicable)
5) Family Interview with Director of Education
6) Submit Enrollment Fee
7) Purchase Required School Uniform and Supplies
After School Care
PCA provides an After School Care Program for students to remain on campus from the end of their school day till 4:30pm. The After School Care Program is available per day or per week (discounted).
Discounts and Financial Aid
Faculty Tuition Discount - 50% Tuition
Multi-Child Tuition Discount - 10% 1st Sibling, 20% 2nd Sibling, etc
Financial Aid is expected to be very limited and will require an application and approval process.
Tuition and Fees
The 2025-2026 Fee and Tuition Schedule will be shared at a later date, but you can get an idea of the expected annual costs below.
Application Fee - $200
Enrollment Fee - $400-$600 (Determined by Grade Level)
Tuition - $4000-$5500 (Determined by Grade Level)
After School Care - $1600-$2400 (Determined by EOD)
Family Informational Meeting
These are introductory group meetings that allow families the opportunity to meet PCA Leadership, understand PCA’s Mission, tour the campus, and ask questions. This meeting is the first step of the Enrollment Process and occurs at the beginning of each month.

Grade Levels
Current enrollment is for Grade PK through Grade 4. PCA plans to be a PK-12 school by 2030.
Curriculum
PCA uses Abeka’s Christian School Curriculum.

Grade K-4 | 7:45am-2:30pm
After School Care | EOD-4:30pm
FAQs
Where is PCA located?
The location of the 2025-2026 School Year is being determined and will be finalized by January 2025. The location will be in Lumberton or Beaumont.
Is PCA accredited?
PCA is not currently accredited but is pursuing accreditation through the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), which is an accrediting agency approved by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC).
Are students required to wear uniforms?

Is homework assigned to students?
Homework assignments are at the discretion of each Teacher. In general, the majority of course work will be completed during class time.

What are the class sizes?
PCA has established the goal of a maximum of 12 students per class in Primary Grades (PK-K) and 14 students per class in Elementary Grades (1-4).
Are books included in Enrollment Fee?
Yes, all required books and curriculum for your student are included in the Enrollment Fee.

We believe technology is important, but our learning environments incorporate very little technology.
